Forum rules
Here is the forum for real dialogue about our culture, our social structure. Our culture affects every part of our social, economic, and political life. It affect how we interact socially with each other which transcends to how we honor rules of trade in our production of goods and services and it's exchange, and it is a factor in our electoral process and our elected official's decision making process. Values differ from one nuclear family to another it is not universal. It is imperative that we inform and educate each other of acceptable and evolved values. Examples; The importance of the individual in society, importance of participation in the electoral process, what and how to eat healthy, responsibility and respect of self and the community, nuclear family financial management, patriotism, means to improve family communication, reasons for respecting the rule of law and trade, importance of a maintenance culture, and conversation on the use of individuals political and or financial power. It is equally important to discuss the necessary social restructure needed for our economic and political growth. These topics are just examples everyone is welcome to introduce their topics on this interactive forum. Guide the nation’s economy through the pathway to your doorstep for prosperity

INTRODUCTION
Developed countries response to our poverty and disorganization had always been that we lack leadership. Are they referring to lack of leadership of the elected political leaders, the bureaucracy, the institutions, or the affluent in our society?
This text purports to demonstrate why the Banks and the Insurance Institutions should lead in directing our country’s social, economic, and political structures needed for growth and how they should guide it through the pathway to their doorstep to be the greatest beneficiary of the prosperity.
Banking Institution makes possible a prosperous nation. You support members of the society to attain their primary needs by lending the qualified members of the society money, from the whole society’s deposits, to produce and exchange their goods and services. Without you, most of us will be poor, because we will be underproductive which means that we will not be able to access the tools and resources needed for our primary basic need. We will have to work very hard to put food on the table. We will live in horrible shelter because of limited access to capital to build a suitable home. Our security will be undermined because there will be aggression, confrontation, and violence from stress over the meager resources available in the society. And there will be no place to safe-keep our spoils. A prosperous nation is made possible primarily by prosperous banking institution. The prosperous the Banking Institution is, the prosperous the society will be. Your institution is the architect of a society’s wealth.
Insurance Institution assures continuation of our lives. Without you there will be continual economic interruption and insecurity. You use our aggregate contributions to provide for the need of those in distress, replace or repair our business or personal property when damaged or destroyed, provide the resources required when our health is in jeopardy, provide resources for our loved ones when we pass on, provide us temporary income when we lost our jobs, etc. The prosperous the insurance institution is the prosperous the society. Your institution is the salvation of a society’s despondency. You limit economic interruption and assure continuity in our economic daily lives.
The banks and the insurance companies have common unique needs. You both need almost all the members in our society to contribute to provide the need of a few distressed qualified members. You both want your member’s success because it breeds economic growth in the society and increases your wealth and your memberships. You both need a conditioned society to the rules of law because your business requires the society’s conformity to survive. You both need us to be secure and healthy to optimize the return on your investment. And you need us as much as we need you because no one in the society can grow to its potential and have continuity economically, politically, and socially without you and you cannot attain this economic success without us. This is why you must lead our nation to prosperity while you prosper and grow exponentially.
The economic well-being of a nation can be measured by the success of the banking and insurance institutions. Countries with structures that nurture the relationships between the citizens and these institutions are economically superior and the basic needs of the citizens are afforded. In nations where any of these institutions is underperforming in the society’s economy, the well-being of the society is proportionately compromised. If it is the bank that is underperforming domestically, it is an indicator that there are interruptions in the citizen’s ability to produce and exchange their production efficiently, there is interruption in accessing capital, difficulty in accessing banks to deposit, cost of lending is too high, and/or the risk to lending is high. The banking institution’s underperformance indicates a society that is unorganized and underproductive. If it is the insurance institution that is underperforming, the risk in the society is too high requiring high unaffordable premium with less coverage, the society has lost confidence in the institution meeting its obligation, and or the citizens are not fully engaged by the institution. The insurance institution’s underperformance indicates the misery and interruptions that members of the society endure in their daily lives that suffocate their well-being and economic growth. The economic growth relationship between these institutions and the society in which they operate is analogous, the growth and success of either is dependent on the other. This is why a nurtured relationship produces a great society.
Nigeria, like all underdeveloped countries, refuses to confront the precursors to our problem. In all underdeveloped countries I visited in Africa and in the Caribbean, the antecedents to underdevelopment are all the same: We are individually underproductive and collectively we are underdeveloped. Because we do not have structured individual identification portfolio, it is increasingly difficult for those with money to invest in those with ideas. We don’t have a housing program our houses are built for many years, not built to code, and without land titles because we have no accessibility to loan. Because our houses are not built to code and without lands title we have no insurance. When the bread winner in a family pass away, or houses are damaged or destroyed there is interruption in our economic daily life because we have no property and life insurance. Without individual health portfolio it is difficult to get life insurance, health insurance, disability insurance, education insurance, employment insurance. Because health regulations, work place legislation, food handling regulations, etc., are not enforced the risks in our society are high. We have no agriculture program and most of our food intake is imported. We are unproductive because of continual interrupted electricity. We all become underproductive, unhealthy, and poor - a country of poverty and misery. The unorganised security structure amplify corruption, aggression, and confrontation as we all strife for the meager resources available. This is the precursor of our poverty. These are our collective pain and suffering majority of our people endures daily. AND ALL THESE POVERTY, PAIN, AND MISERY ARE YOUR LOSS.

WHY YOU MUST LEAD
You have to lead in structuring relationships between and within; institutions, your potential clients (the whole society is potential client), and the government. The government create the law, the police enforce the law, and the judiciary apply the punishment but the organization of our daily relationships is presently in nobody’s ballpark. You must lead to nurture this relationship for the economic, social and political well-being of your present and potential client. Their growth is your success.
To accomplish this you may have to do the following: (a) Support your potential clients and present clients to meet with the prerequisites that will expedite the exchange of goods and services produced amongst them and with you to attain loans and insurance with your institutions. (b) Actively participate in organizing the society to safeguard your present and potential asset from any interruption in their ability to produce, exchange the goods produced, to deposit their spoils, to borrow, to invest, and to meet the obligation to pay their loans and insurance premiums. (c) Continually seek the means to protect your asset because their security is most important to you. It is a cost to you every time your clients are at risk. It increases the risk to lend, loss of loan recovery, increase the risk to insure, increase the premiums on insurance, and increase the cost of insurance payout.
Why should you engage the problems that have a stranglehold on your asset for your economic gain? See what organizations and institutions have contributed in other countries to support their clients for their economic gain.

(a) Support your clients to meet prerequisite to exchange their goods and services produced and meet the prerequisite for loan and insurance.
You should support your clients to attain all the prerequisites required to exchange their goods and services with each other and with your institutions that will lessen interruptions and nurture relationships. If these requirements are unavailable it will hinder the opportunities and growth for you and all your potential clients.
(1) You must support your clients to have authentication documents that will expedite legal transactions. This is the foundation of interrelationship in a society. This is what connects us all together socially, economically, and politically, we are daily confronted with contractual agreements when we produce and exchange our goods and services. The easier your client can responsibly exchange their goods and services with the least interruption the more they will come to you. When they reach you, they would have had the authentication that will expedite the legal contractual relationship for loan and insurance with them.
An individual portfolio is the composite information of an individual from the federal, State, Cities, and institutions in a file. All the sources of information are presently available, what is required is to support the sources to structure the means the information is collected, stored, exchanged and regulated to assure reliability in the data collected from each sections of the establishments; federal, States, Cities, and institutions.
National individual Identification system:
The primary requirement for a legal transaction is the establishment of responsibility which requires the authentication of the parties involved in a contract. The national identification number identifies each individual and the nationality. This is crucial because we must be able to determine who we are engaging in a contractual relationship. National identification is also important to initiating any other identification provided by States, Cities, and institutions because nationality must be first ascertained. Digitized national identification may be a very useful tool, to organize, direct, and support a society in real time since the collation of data obtained from it will provide the government the required tools to manage.

State Individual Identification system
Each State has individual identifications such as drivers licence, medical number, birth certificate, death certificate, employment identification, tax number, house numbers, lands title, etc. Each department in the state have a file on each individual client.
Institutions individual identification system
Each institution has a portfolio (a file) for each of its client. For example, the judiciary could have case numbers, the insurance and banking institution may have file numbers, the education institution may have student numbers, etc. which contain a file or history of each individual relevant to the need of the institution.
Individual portfolio
All the above information on each individual or each entity from the federal, States, cities, and institutions, becomes an individual’s (cumulative history) portfolio. For example Femi Ndoma has a national ID #222222222, lives at number 39, Brave road, in Maiduguri. He is a male, an accountant, D.O.B 15 09 1980, Medical ID - #4444444, Drivers Licence - #5555555, Tax department - # 3333333, Work employment #77777 etc. Justice department; traffic infraction – none, Warrant issued against him – Nil, Registration office, -Assets N3.5million, Liability N2.0 million, Credit score – 8, (record of how it meets his obligation. Highest of 10 very good), Medical portfolio; Health - had a knee fracture from a fall in 1999 etc.
It is all the information collected from each of these establishments, federal, States, cities, and institutions that become an individual portfolio. The information contained in each file from each establishment must be reliable, verifiable, and in real time to be meaningful. Therefore each establishment must be supported with the structure to collect, store, update, and exchange data.
An information structure is necessary to retrieve, store, and exchange all these data between the institutions, the States, cities and the federal. To co-ordinate all the inflow of information from different establishment to be dispersed back to any establishments when requisitioned in real time will require a supported, structured, regulated, and independent institution (maybe a public corporation). Quick accessibility, storage, update, and distribution require that we are digitized. The structure to store, retrieve, and disperse data in real time is crucial to economic growth, it nurtures the relationships between and within, the people, the institutions, and the government. You must support the national identification system N.I.N. with States, cities, and institutions identification information for your need and that of your client. In our daily interactions we need reliable and real time access to some of each other’s portfolio.
You must also support a regulated point of access to all the information for the user. There should be regulated individuals and establishments that will have access to the network, through internet or phone number, with required registration requirement and types of available access. While the banking institution’s main interest may be an individual’s prior history of honouring obligations, the asset, liability, and present income of an individual. An insurance company’s need may include the individual’s medical portfolio such as family health record, prior medical conditions, and present medical condition to measure risk to insure.
The Bank’s present biometric system will safeguard the institution and your present client but it may not support your potential client quicker access for their needs from you. It may not support your clients and potential clients to borrow from you if you do not have access to their composite data and it may not support your assets and potential assets to engage in contractual relationship with each other which is required for production and its exchange that will eventually lead to you.
(2) Support your client to qualify for a loan and/or insurance.
You must educate, motivate, and direct your clients and potential clients to use your services. A business located across a river from a community must build a bridge or a boat to shuttle the potential client to the business as conveniently as possible. These are some examples of the support we may require;
Educate your clients about education insurance a small monthly allowance that can be appropriated monthly towards their children’s post-secondary education to avoid the burden in the future.
Educate them from school before entrée into the job market the prerequisites for loans. Teach them about the privileges of accessing loans and the obligation to repayment. The importance and types of borrowing to economic growth and freedom.
Teach them the importance of insurance; life, disability, health, saving plan for retirement, and property. The culture and ignorance of these important programs creates interruptions in the continuity of our people’s daily lives.
http://www.cba.ca/en/component/content/category/79-banks-and-financial-literacy

Motivate and direct your present and potential clients
Support them to qualify for a loan by collaboration. Example, five to ten doctors sharing the same building space and equipment may have collectively more assets, lesser liabilities and collective responsibility to qualify for the purchase of assets that can be shared. Taxi owners may work collaboratively under one banner of 200-300 members where their assets combined may enable them to purchase more assets and insurance for their members with collective responsibility that may lessen risk.
Support through loans better structures for the present retail outlets. Structures could be designed and mass produced that that will support them to exchange their goods and services efficiently, effectively and economically with a loan program to provide their services instead of the shacks they presently utilized. Prerequisite for participation may be the opening of a bank account where monthly remittance will be made. This will increase membership, loans, insurance, and economic growth.
The middle class of any nation are the tradespersons. They include; carpenters, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, welders, masonries, machinists, roofers, etc. These are the professions that shoulder’s the economy in industrialized nations. Support them to structure this industry for your growth. The immediate problems they face today are the unqualified tradesmen that depress their wages. Create a few months courses for those who have already been qualified, the successful candidates will then be certified. Approve loans on condition of certified tradesperson services. The result will eliminate all the unqualified workers and enable structures to be built to code. You could then support them, through a loan program, (or maybe create a franchise?) to attain the necessary equipment needed to perform their duty to standard. Your gain are, new bank and insurance memberships, a loan disbursement program, insurance on the loans, insurance for their workers, insurance for the business they now operate, and buildings built to code that can be insured.
Engage the government on the provision of financial support programs for invention and innovation. A structure that will support invention and innovations with prototypes, development, and marketing cost. There are many out there with knowledge and ideas.
There are too many interference in the retail and production industry that affect production that must be eliminated. For example every retailer pays union fee for type of product retailed. To sell another line of product requires more fees. There are too many extortions that are impacting production and its exchange that is causing poverty. Support them to break the structure
You have begun to engage the society and you have started a structured relationship.
(b) Actively participate in organizing the society to safeguard your present and potential asset from any interruption in their ability to produce.
To produce goods/services we need uninterrupted electricity and water. To exchange the goods and services produced we need good roads. To produce and exchange our goods with the least interruption we need a conditioned society to the rule of law.
If the relationship between the well-being of a society and the bank / insurance institutions are analogous, these two institutions must do all they can to support the society in which they operate to have all the requisition to produce and have structures necessary to condition them to the rule of law.
Electricity, water, and the law enforcement agency:
In affluent societies electricity is provided by the States/Provinces or private companies not the federal government. The States that have the infrastructure to produce it should be supported by the federal government with loans to build the project. States that can produce it may sell (at federal regulated price) to States that cannot. The federal government had spent too much unsuccessful time and capital on this venture. There is no other institution with your knowledge and power you must support your assets to produce. If States that can produce electricity are supported with studies that show that they have the infrastructure, supported to acquire the producer with estimated cost, shown the profitability, and supported with a promissory loan, the potential revenue will motivate the States that can produce electricity to come aboard with you. The frustrated manufacturing institution and the frustrated public will support you. Please support us for your economic wealth.
There is abundant water resource in Nigeria the problem we have is the delivery. Production and its exchange require water and it is a daily requirement by every one for our consumption and hygiene purposes. Alas, we cannot look away while a few of us cause so much pain for many. A published study of the impact of water interruption in our society to the State governors with the request for independent oversight is long overdue. Your absence in our economic, social, and political structures has so much impact on our livelihood and your wealth potential.
Insurance play a major role in the continuity of our economic life. Its importance cannot be overstated. Our culture need to be conditioned to understand its importance to individual growth and security. Please do not underestimate our culture. It is very important to start with the youth and invest in effective advertisement.
In Canada like most affluent western world, each City has its own police, while the federal police provide the police training. The federal police provide services to towns less than 5000 residents for free. The federal police also act as provincial police providing specialized services and support to towns and cities. They oversee federal crimes. However the day to day operations in a city are solely the jurisdiction of the city police. It is almost impossible to control such a large force (Nigeria police) from the centre. We need a conditioned society and policing plays a major role in a society’s conformance to the rule of law, they are the savior of civil society.

Protect your assets
Every time that any of your client is at risk of losing a home, life, property, etc. you are at the same risk of loss of loan recovery and loss of insurance payout. It is reasonable that you must be at the forefront advocating structures that will make us safe. The most horrifying and defeating feeling in the world is ‘a feeling that I am on my own’. It creates chaos; aggression, confrontation, and violence which amplify the disrespect for the rule of (trade) law that you need for prosperity.

Conclusion
The mandate is not to confront power but to engage it, not to control it but to support it and not to direct it but to nudge it in the right direction to provide all of us our primary basic needs. To engage the City, States, and the federal government to make provisions for a world standard education system that will enable us to produce and a structured work training program after or during school that will prepare us readily to produce competitively globally. To support a structured individual identification portfolio which will assign responsibility to each one of us that will enable us to access capital to produce, exchange our goods and services produced with the least interruption, support the management of the country, and foster relationships between individuals, institutions, and the government for a greater society. Engage the federal government to accept State’s production, responsibility, and control of electricity by States that have the resource. Support structured housing programs that will provide shelter, a basic human need, at an affordable mortgage cost that will reduce anxiety, corruption, aggression, confrontation, violence, and the disregard for the rule of law. Engage the whole country with an information structure that will narrate the importance of financial security which enables economic continuity – the need for life, disability, health, education, property, etc. insurance. Engage the leaderships of the Cities, States, and the federal on the need for security of live and property, to nudge the States and cities to accept the responsibility of providing policing service, and the need to keep us save and to allay our fears that we are not alone we are 164 million strong.
All these may be overwhelming. You must wonder about the cost and the time that will be involved to attain these gains. Overcoming big things require big minds and there is no institution with better minds than your institution. The formation of Special Projects Team that will dedicate itself to connecting these dots at the least cost will be most effective. You must have many within your organization that have the same mindset. Give me the opportunity to choose six of them, your cost will be their present wages and operating expense, and let us get to work. Every project will be subjected to your approval. We will raise funds from all other stakeholders for different projects.

My life changed forever in 1992 the first time I visited Nigeria since I left in 1977. Every time I returned home it worsened. Our culture has become so harsh. We no longer love, trust, respect, or care for each other. Everyone and every institution seem to be isolated, alone. Our present population projection will require increased production and consumption which cannot be attained without a structure to support production, housing, agriculture, and security. A country must grow or die. We cannot grow without you, neither can you grow without us, this is why you must support, organize, and direct our society. You can guide this growth through the pathway to your doorstep.

I ask that you give me the opportunity to contribute to the betterment of my country. Give me the opportunity to make a presentation to you. You must respond to my correspondence because your silence does not encourage relationships and contributions that is much needed right now. Please find inclusive my proposal for a Special Project’s Team,
I look forward to hearing from you.

Prior contributions
I made a presentation to Ogun State chamber of commerce about our unorganized small market and its impact on production, in 1992.
I spent many years to influence the creation of Lagos State’s ‘call center’ a place to call when in imminent or immediate danger. It took six relentless years to get any positive action.
http://nigerianpage.com
[/u][/url] in 2013. I created this site because of the difficulty in contacting and getting response from institutions and elected officials in Nigeria. It is a venue where all of us, Nigerians, can contribute, support, and inform each other, our institutions, and our elected officials on our needs and hopefully a venue for them to direct, inform, and organize us in fulfilling our needs.

I was in Nigeria in August 2014. I had interviews on Eko radio, Continental radio, OGBC radio, and the Tribune newspaper. The subject was on how we have to prepare for the increasing population and the concerns of our youth age dependency ratio and the factors that are impeding growth.
I humbly request for a presentation.
I look forward to hearing from you
Sincerely,
