OUR SOCIAL STRUCTURE IS IMPEDING OUR GROWTH

In every society it is the people within it that make the society what it is. It is also true that there is a social structure that has developed over the life span of that society that has a stranglehold on the society. This structure may be good for the society or it may be destructive. ‘Social structure is the organized pattern of social relationships and social institutions that together compose society. Social structures are not immediately visible to the untrained observer; however they are present and affect all dimensions of human experience in society. Some believe that social structure is naturally developed’.
Is our social structure naturally or socially developed? I do not have all the answers and this is why we all need to inform, engage, contribute, participate and support each other and our country. It is obvious that our social structure which is the distinctive, stable arrangement of institutions whereby human beings in a society interact and live together is dysfunctional.
We were dominated and surely our social structure was severely impacted while our political and economic structures quantum leaped. We need to inform, engage, contribute, participate, support, and motivate ourselves and our people on how to restructure this foundation that our society is built upon. Please join us at nigerianpage.com and let us contribute all that we have learnt and exposed to, in our new found country, for the betterment of the country we originate. You can feel it in the air our time is near. Societies that are successful are readily prepared for opportunity. ‘The most thorough account of the evolution of social structure is perhaps provided by structure and agency accounts that allow for a sophisticated analysis of the co-evolution of social structure and human agency, where socialized agents with a degree of autonomy take action in social systems where their action is on the one hand mediated by existing institutional structure and expectations but may, on the other hand, influence or transform that institutional structure’…..Wikipedia.
Combined we should be the most educated and smartest people on the face of the planet and surely we can outsmart these problems that confront us. We only have to find the means to communicate in ways that we can all hear and understand. Think of all the reasons we want to leave our country; insecurity, disorganization, non-conformity to the rule of law, non-provision for human basic needs, non-support and disorganization for continuity of our lives, aggression, confrontation, and violence. Are they all related to our social structure?
We cannot wait till tomorrow we must start today. If tomorrow our children needed to ask what we did to support the nation we originated, we could say, we contributed all that we could.
Please join us at nigerianpage.com and start educating, engaging, participating, supporting, learning, and motivating all of us.
